Please Commandant(PCK), For heaven sake if d truth is 2b told; these recruits were formally either employed, students or business men and women b4 they left 4 better 2 joined d NPF. And now u dismissed 26 and even threaten 2 dismiss 1500 recruits "over-aged as u claimed. After training 4 about 7months where, when and how would they re-establish themselves 2 coax a little hope 2 their languishing poor families when every hope has been rested upon this flourished penacea(NPF). And who are these young recruits u are bringing 2 join in d training. Are u dismissing them 4 ur own selfish interest? Well, every disappointment is a blessing.

The recent dismissal of over 40 recruits from Police College Kaduna in their 7th month of training by Ag Commandant of the College Mr Rufa'i Ahmmed Sanusi, does not only expose the absurdity of NPF, but further reveals the unseriousness of the NPF in combating crime. Let' take the Nigerian Army for instance: If a recruit is being trained in the army immaterial of the duration, unless for criminal act or gross misconduct, he can't be dismissed. Even when a recruit you runs away, the Army would look for him and bring him back. This is becouse they know the security implications of leting go a trained recruit. But look at the folly, insanity and stupidity displayed by this inexperienced commandant, or rather experienced but wicked, callous, barbaric and inhuman leader who puts his parochial interest first by dismissing and replacing them for financial gains. According to reports, he brought three people as replacement who are older than the ones he sent packing as over aged recruits. Looking at his actions from a different angle, it may not be wrong to opine that the said commandant may be interested in the detoriating security challenges posed by the dreaded Islamic Sect (Boko Haram). I believe the sect members are jubilating over the action of their 'oga' who is reducing the nunber of their enemies through dismissal of innocent recruits. As if that is not enough, he promise dismissing not less than 1,500 recruits before their passing out. Even if it were becouse of age, sight impairment, height factors etc, that is to tell u the unseriousness of the Poice force. The questions which many would want them answered are: were the recruits not screned before documentation?, does the screning by officers from the Police Service Commission useless?. Why was it not done earlier? It may interest Rufa'i to know that there is nothing frustration cannot do. These people were employees some where, before they abandoned their jobs to help combat crime and criminals. Pushing them away would definately result otherwise. Also to note is that he is jeopardising his career in the force. His tract records would speak for him should he deserve further appointments either in the force or in politics. The Inspector General of Police MD Abukar should call him to order before the situation goes out of hand.
